Occupy Dallas Protesters Brace for the Cold [video] FOXDFW
DALLAS - The Occupy Dallas protesters camping out behind city hall have been through five thunderstorms, but the looming cold front could really test them.
Aaron Stauter, a spokesman for the group, said the command post does have a space heater for the cold. But everyone else will have to bundle up. Electricity is in short supply with just one generator on site for roughly 70 tents.
The protesters do have access to coats and sweaters that have been donated. And they plan to look out for one another.

Mayor "Troubled" By Assault at Occupy Dallas Site, But Not Ready to Boot Group Off City Land in Dallas Observer
"What's most important to me is public safety, whether inside or outside the camp," he said. "This is a concerning incident, a concerning act. I asked the police: Is this an isolated incident, or do we have a trend here that will endanger the public's safety? At this point they say this is isolated, but trust me, there will be closer surveillance to make sure it's not a trend. And if it is, we're going to have a very different conversation."
