Tents went up under a stand of oak trees at the corner of Hickory Street and Avenue A over the weekend, their occupants joining the chorus of Occupy Wall Street.Organizers of Occupy Denton estimated between 15 and 30 people started camping out at this corner beside the Language Building at the University of North Texas, in solidarity with other protesters who have occupied Wall Street and other financial centers around the world for the past month.
